“By building out our hero character ‘Jay’ before even finalizing the script we were able to craft our art direction, lighting and set design around Jay’s personality. It was important to us to represent a unique character, who had a bold style and took on a challenge in their own personal way because who else would bring a disco ball camping?”

PROCESS
Making sure that we were capturing the energy and fun as we jumped through time was a key part of what we had to solve. This carried us through a day in the life of using Alexa, creating camera language that connected the scenes but wasn't distracting or trying too hard. We took a less literal approach so we could jump through time convincingly and playfully.
