Scholar teamed up with our friends at The Beacon to announce to the world, when it comes to Kohler’s self-cleaning toilets, you can spend less time cleaning and more time doing you. Together, we crafted a narrative that evokes a feeling of captivation as our ensemble of characters transport themselves from stylish bathroom scenes to idealized imaginative settings.

In each of our setups, we combined custom set designs, practical transitions, and visual effects to stitch the worlds of “I’d love to be anywhere but here” with “look at the things I could do.” We created something authentically Kohler with aesthetically pleasing transitions and match cuts, all accomplished in a way that grabs your attention and keeps 'em coming back for more.

We struck a balance between the practicality of the clean-seeking journey and the magic of imagination.

Process

Our transitions were captured in-camera to create hyper-realistic scenes that shine a light on each character's passion.
