'Through the Bullseye'

Bullseye had a special place in our hearts, ever since he came to dimensional life in our very first "auditions" animations. The exciting prospect this time around was to expand his world and create an inhabited city, complete with stores and parks.

Our artists dug into the details, creating playful foliage, colorful package designs, and stylized architectural features down to the square inch. Bullseye is always the center of attention, but a keen eye will find detail in every nook and cranny of the frame.

Client
Target

We loved the intimacy of our prior animations, but we always wondered, "what's outside the window?" What would the rest of our Target world look like? We went from a single room with prop costumes to an entire metropolis. There are busy city streets, a Target store with hundreds of products lining the shelves, and an urban garden with foliage designed, ahem, from the ground up.

Unlike our previously more kid-focused animations, the ask was for Bullseye to feel a bit more effortlessly cool this time around. It's easy for that attitude to slip too far into arrogance, so finding the personality sweet spot was a fun challenge!
