Wawa

'Summer of Hoagielove'

Nothing says summertime quite like biting into a delicious hoagie on the beach, and nothing kicks it off better than Wawa’s Hoagiefest! Together with our friends at Forsman & Bodenfors, we crafted a campaign of summer stories starring a fantastic family of hoagie lovers that was as fun to create as it is to look at. Using the beloved hoagies and Wawa branding as our jumping-off point, we designed every character, environment moment, and transition to keep the hoagie as our hero across all deliverables - TV, In-Store, OOH, Merch, and Social!

In the end, flowing cel animation, beautiful food photography, and an originally scored pop track seamlessly mix together to create a delicious and inviting world to explore. You will want to watch again and again as you sing the song back to yourself, Hoagiefest is here!

We always love the opportunity to design a world beyond a 16:9 frame. This project gave us a chance to think outside the box right from the initial design phase. How can we craft a world and a story that works in motion, print, swag and beyond? We dove in deep and had a blast designing for TV, Social Platforms, In-Store Signage, and some super fun collectibles.

The members of our team that grew up with Wawa reminded us from the beginning - Wawa is more than just great hoagies, it is a lifestyle. It is always a treat to work with a brand that has a loyal fanbase and after this project we found ourselves mapping out how far the nearest Wawa was to New York City. It is 8.4 Miles.
